Congratulations to our partner Xtractor Interactive and Scandic Hotels for winning the prestigeous price “Sweden’s best e-learning” in the private sector category at the annual Swedish Learning Awards. The online training course, where Virtual eTraining acted as co-producer, also won second price at the British e-learning awards on November 6.
The course is a user-centric experience where visitors can follow a day at Scandic hotel. The participant can visit different parts of the hotel and experience storytelling, interactive 360 panoramas (delivered by Virtual eTraining), movies and educational exercises.
Because it is open to all on Scandic’s website it has also received much attention worldwide and gives a wide range of audiences the opportunity to learn more about how to treat guests with impaired abilities.
The jury’s motivation:
An easy interface and inspiring shift in perspective that gives an “aha!”-experience and understanding of a diverse audience which has different and varying requirements on their hotel stay.

Virtual eTraining has teamed up with the consultancy company INBEx (www.inbex.se) with the ambition to offer world unique, immersive and interactive virtual training programs for the nuclear industry.
INBEx offers assistance to their partners with independent advice on strategic issues within the nuclear sector. Some examples are technology choice in developing a nuclear power program, strategies for establishment of authorities, and defining programs for education and training.
By combining the resources of the two companies we can now bring a unique range of distance learning programs and assessment services to the nuclear industry.
In this issue of CAT Magazine (Journal for Civil Aviation Training) new technology for cabin crew training is being explored and Virtual eTraining is featured among other companies providing interactive learning.
