    Do you have what it takes to land a Boeing 737 with both pilots incapacitated? 

    Virtual eTraining has developed the “Aviation 360 Experience”, a new iOS app for aviation enthusiasts now available for download on App Store.

    The app is for aviation enthusiasts wanting to experience and learn more about aviation by exploring 360 virtual environments. It contains a course on how to land a Boeing 737 with both pilots incapacitated taught by Petter Hörnfeldt at Mentour 360, an experienced line training manager and pilot.

    The app is built to in future interface with the Taggis platform, enabling companies to push courses produced in the platform to its users.

  • “Taggis” wins Business Pitch of the Week on Sweden’s largest Business Podcast

    Sweden’s largest business podcast named Virtual eTraining’s EdTech project “Taggis” this week’s winner!

    Every week the business podcast invites the most influential entrepreneurs to assess and judge three different business pitches. The one with the best pitch and business model is then named the “Business Pitch of the week”.

    This week our MD presented our new concept Taggis which received a lot of positive feedback from the jury and was finally named the winner of the three.

  • Virtual eTraining finalists in Venture Cup 2017!

    We are proud to announce that Virtual eTraining is one of the top 12 finalists in Venture Cup 2017!

    Venture Cup is Sweden’s number 1 start-up competition and Virtual eTraining and the concept “Taggis” was selected together with 11 other companies out of 400+ applicants with a chance to win 500.000 SEK. The finals will be held on May 16 in Stockholm.

    Taggis är en av 12 startupidéer som tävlar på regionfinalen av den prestigefyllda tävlingen Venture Cup den 16 maj i Stockholm. Taggis är ett unikt koncept för att skapa utbildningar och presentationsmaterial till den internationella flygindustrin. Genom att addera lager av interaktivitet i 360-bilder, filmer och stillbilder återskapar användaren verklighetstrogna utbildningsmiljöer och kommunikativt material som möjliggör skalbar och kostnadseffektiv utbildning i svåråtkomliga miljöer.

    — 2013 började vårt företag Virtual eTraining Software erbjuda den internationella flygindustrin virtuella bildmiljöer, föreställande deras egna verkliga flygplansmiljöer, i syfte att utbilda deras piloter, kabinpersonal och flygteknisk personal om hur t.ex nödutrustning fungerar ombord, hur piloterna checkar flyget innan avgång, hur man tekniskt underhåller flyget och hur personalen evakuerar flygplanen vid nödsituationer m.m, säger teamet bakom Taggis.

    För cirka 1 år sedan förstod teamet att de behövde gå ifrån att vara en producent av eLearning i virtuella miljöer till att erbjuda och utveckla en plattform där kunder och partners själva enkelt kan producera den här typen av eLearning.

    — För cirka ett år sedan började våra befintliga stora flygbolagskunder höra av sig till oss med önskemål om att själva kunna uppdatera och redigera i sina virtuella kursmiljöer, eftersom de internt hade upptäckt flera nya användningsområden med tekniken. Samtidigt började också våra internationella konkurrenter, såsom världsledande Pelesys.com höra av sig till oss med önskemål om licensiering och partnerskap gällande vår teknik. Det var då vi förstod att vi behövde gå ifrån att vara en producent av eLearning i virtuella miljöer till att erbjuda och utveckla en plattform där kunder och partners själva enkelt kan producera den här typen av eLearning. Idén kom således från våra kunder och konkurrenter som älskar vår teknik och “toolbox”, men gärna själv vill kunna arbeta med tekniken eftersom det då blir betydligt mer tids- och kostnadseffektivt än om vi skulle utföra detta arbete åt kunden. Vi behövdes inte längre som producent av dessa virtuella träningsmiljöer, utan mer som en leverantör av vår egen teknik och “toolbox” till våra kunder och partners, säger teamet bakom Taggis.

    We are happy to announce that Virtual eTraining has signed a non-disclosure agreement with Mentour 360, a company specialized in creating Virtual Reality for the aviation industry. Through Mentor 360 we can reach a wider audience of aviation fans. Watch Mentour 360’s YouTube channel here.

    I see huge potential in Taggis from my perspective as a Virtual Reality app creator. My company focuses mainly in 360 video experiences for mass-market and with Taggis we see the possibility to get people further involved in our apps and make the experience more interactive, fun and educational.

  • Virtual Maintenance Trainer for Pelesys Aviation Training

    Virtual eTraining has signed an agreement with Pelesys to provide virtual environments for maintenance training. Pelesys will use both Virtual eTraining’s virtual environments and editor to create immersive training experiences within aviation maintenance.

  • Boeing 737 and 767 Pre-flight Inspection for TUIfly Nordic

    Virtual eTraining has signed an agreement with TUIfly Nordic to provide virtual environments for developing pre-fligt inspection training for their series of Boeing 737 and 767 aircraft. The company will use Virtual eTraining’s world unique editor for 360 environments to create the training in-house.

    The solution is fully HTML5 compliant and will be integrated with their existing LMS.

    TUIfly Nordic is one of the leading leisure carriers in the Nordic countries with ca 750.000 customers annually.
