Norwegian Air Shuttle together with Virtual eTraining Software has been invited present at the Cabin Crew Conference at the world’s biggest gathering of aviation training professionals, WATS (World Aviation Training Symposium), 1st April to 3rd April in Orlando.
The topic is “Case Study – 360° e-Learning Project” in Aviation Training. The presentation will focus on how the airline Norwegian Air Shuttle improved, modernized and contracted the path for future cost savings in Cabin Crew Training through the development of a world unique online Cabin Crew Recurrent Training course based on a virtual 360 degree training environment.

Cabin crew take the e-learning course including a mandatory annual recurrent exam before they come to the training centre which:

The presentation will also include: project goals, ROI calculation, lessons learned and a demonstration of the technology from Virtual eTraining.

WATS 2012 was the 15th annual world airline training conference was hailed as a great success with nearly 900 attendees from 47 countries representing 90 airlines, 16 national and international regulators and 70 exhibitors.
We will be participating for the first time as an exhibitor at WATS. Some 930 training professionals representing hundreds of companies, 82 airlines and 48 countries, reaffirmed the status of WATS as the world’s largest gathering of airline professionals.
Virtual eTraining participated for the first time as an exhibitor at EATS, the European Airline Training Symposium, and gained alot of positive attention from the industry. With 48 countries and 74 airlines represented, the 10th iteration of EATS focused on today’s pressing aviation training issues.
